Boxing Returns to Gaelic Park – Friday, September 26th, 2025

New York, NY – Boxing finally returns to the historic Gaelic Park on Friday, September 26th, 2025, as the New York GAA proudly presents a night of sport, music, and community celebration.

Event Schedule:

Gates Open: 5:00 PM
Live Music: 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Boxing: 6:00 – 9:00 PM
Live Music Finale: 9:00 – 10:00 PM

Originally planned to feature the professional showdown between Harley Burke and Emmet Brennan for the Celtic Title, the bout has been postponed due to unforeseen visa issues. Organizers are working to reschedule this highly anticipated fight, with updates to follow in the coming weeks.

In its place, Gaelic Park will host a thrilling amateur boxing card, showcasing the talent of local athletes, including members of the GAA community, in partnership with USA Boxing. This special evening marks an exciting step in bringing Irish boxing back to the forefront of New York City’s sporting scene.

Looking ahead, the Celtic Clash at Gaelic Park – with a full professional dimension – is confirmed to take place in May or June 2026, using this September event as a launch pad for what promises to be a historic return of Irish boxing to the Big Apple.
