Just a few updates ahead of our upcoming Dads & Lads Tournament!

Date: Saturday, November 7th, 2026
Registration: 2:30 PM
First Games: 3:00 PM

This is an Over 35s event. Remember, this isn't the All-Ireland Final, so there's no need to take it too seriously. It's all about getting the boots back on, having a bit of craic and enjoying the day!

Registration

Entry Fee: $150 per team.
Payment Deadline: October 10th, 2026.
Payment must be received before the deadline to secure your team's spot.

Each team will receive:

One case of beer.
15 hot dogs.

Tournament Rules

Age Requirement: All players must be 35 years of age or older by November 6th, 2026.
Team Format: 9-a-side.
Game Duration: 15 minutes per game.
45s: There will be no 45s. Play will restart with a kick-out.
Frees: Any free awarded must be taken by the player who was fouled.
Sideline Kicks: Must be taken by the player closest to where the ball crossed the sideline.
Black Card: A 3-minute temporary dismissal.
Straight Red Card: The player is sent off for the remainder of the game and receives an automatic one-match suspension for the team's next game.
General Rules: Unless otherwise stated above, normal GAA 9-a-side playing rules will apply.

The referee's decision is final.

All players participate at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to take part in the tournament.

Players are also responsible for their own medical and health insurance.

New York GAA and the tournament organizers accept no responsibility for injuries sustained while participating in the tournament.
