New York Senior Hurling Manager – Applications Now Open

NEW YORK, NY — August 13, 2026

New York GAA announced today that it is accepting applications for the position of Senior Hurling Manager following two

winning championship seasons, including the Lory Meagher Cup in 2025 and the Nicky Rackard Cup in 2026. The incoming manager will lead the program as New York competes in the Christy Ring Cup for the first time. Applications should be submitted to secretary@gaanewyork.com

The team’s advancement to the Christy Ring Cup marks a signifi cant milestone for hurling in New York and refl ects sustained progress across player development, coaching, and competitive performance. New York GAA’s senior hurling program has established a strong platform in recent years, supported by committed players and volunteers and an expanding base of hurling activity in the region. The upcoming Christy Ring Cup campaign will provide an opportunity to further strengthen standards on and off the fi eld. New York GAA is seeking a manager who can build on current momentum while continuing to develop pathways for long-term success.
